Welcome to day 5 of your #CreatingJoyChallenge.

We all know that exercise is a fantastic way to improve mood and overall wellbeing. This is not something I really need to explain or try to convince you on, but the hard part can be in the prioritizing and staying consistent. Today I want to encourage you to outline/set a goal for the type of movement/exercise you are going to do each week. You can choose to do yoga, or really any other kind of exercise. It doesn’t necessarily need to be an intense workout plan but can be if that is what you are looking for in your life. The point is to get your body moving.

Move your body, feel good!

First decide what type of movement or exercise you’d like to add to your lifestyle.

  • Yoga
  • Tai Chi
  • Running
  • HIIT videos online
  • Weights at the Gym
  • Personal Trainer

My favorites are Yoga and Running. Pick what you like or maybe try something new. The important part is to do what will motivate you!

Create a plan & stick to it! 🙂

Now that you have decided what type of exercise you will incorporate into your lifestyle, it is time to decide how often you want to work out, for how long and when. These are all very important. The more detailed and clear your plan is, the more likely you will be to following through with that plan.
